| Video Discription | This less edited video demonstrated a Draf 2a frontal sinusotomy. A single big agger nasi cell (ANC) was opened toward the frontal sinus made the procedure easier. Frontal sinus drainage pathway was identified (based on CT) on posterior of aspect of the ANC and enlarged during ANC removal. Ethmoidal bulla was preserved. The uncinate process was prominent and preferably removed by a sickle knife, continued with a Kerrison rounger sized 2mm upward. MMA was not performed since the natural ostium was widely identified. Other instruments used were endoscopic scissors, Blakesley-Castelnuovo forceps, and Castelnuovo-Rhinoforce cutting forceps. |
