| Video Discription | Sometimes, performing lumpectomy reconstruction can be as tough as mastectomy reconstruction. Dr. Cassileth's patient came to her after a lumpectomy with a radiated implant and bunched up breast tissue, resulting in a severe breast deformity. Dr. Cassileth released the pectoralis major muscle, removed the old implant and ADM, created an internal flap to redistribute the remaining breast, and placed new smaller breast implants.
