The shocking incident occured on Saturday, when the girl, jumped off allegedly from a height of around 48 feet which proved fatal for her. Amaira was rushed to a nearby hospital but the fall proved fatal for her. As per information available with India Today, the CCTV footage showed the girl falling off the railing. The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. As per sources, prima facie, the girl died by suicide even though the school authorities are yet to come out with their version in the matter. Also, as per information, when police officers reached the school, they found that the area where the girl had fallen, had been wiped off and that the area had no visible bloodstains. Amaira's parents were in a state of shock and have registered an FIR against the school administration, alleging death under suspicious circumstances. The family has raised question regarding how such an incident could occur inside the school premises and have demanded investigation in connection with the teaching staff in the matter. The school administration has been accused of remaining tight lipped and of being non cooperative in the matter. The girl's family, which resides in Jaipur's Mansarovar, has filed an FIR in the case. 9 year old Amayra was the single child of her mother who is employed in the banking sector and father who is employed in a private company. The Joint Parents' Association alleged that the girl died by suicide after being harassed by a teacher at Neerja Modi School. It also accused school administration of destroying evidence and demanded fair investigation and strict action in the matter. "The tragic incident at Neerja Modi School, a prestigious private school in Jaipur, has shocked the entire education world. According to reports, a Class 6 student, allegedly traumatized by harassment by her class teacher, committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor. Upon receiving information about the incident, State President of the Joint Parents' Association, Rajasthan, Arvind Agarwal, and State Spokesperson, Abhishek Jain Bittu, immediately arrived at the scene. Both representatives spent nearly four hours on the school premises, attempting to determine the truth, but the school administration refused to share any information.
