Specifically, to Belmopan, Belize to assist the Western Regional Medical Center meet the Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck surgical needs of the citizens of Belize. Sponsored by the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation (OHNF) and the worldwide community supporters of the global outreach efforts of OHNI. The team works together to tackle a wide range of problems from hearing loss to skin cancer. They remove live beetles from the ear canal and tumors from awake patients under local anesthesia. Friendships are made, trust is built, and more than 55 major operations are completed.
