On Tuesday, November 18th, in Delhi, an innocent 16-year-old boy, Shaurya, took his own life. Shaurya took his own life by jumping from platform number 2 of the Rajendra Place Metro Station in Delhi. A bystander saw him bleeding and informed the police and his family...but by the time he was taken to the hospital, he had already died. This incident has shaken the entire nation... The child's final statement clearly shows that he was under immense pressure at school... Hello... Police found a one-and-a-half-page suicide note in Shaurya's bag. In it, he made serious allegations against the teachers and school management. Just one extracurricular activity tortured and shattered this innocent child to such an extent that he saw no other way out, forcing him to take his own life. Shaurya's father alleged that his son had been struggling with the treatment he received at school for months. He told me and my wife that the teachers scolded him for every little thing and hurt him mentally... We complained verbally several times, but they did not listen. He said that he had avoided changing schools because his tenth-grade exams were approaching.
